Amplitude implementation services for product decisions you can defend

We implement Amplitude from a governed tracking plan: SDKs on web, iOS, Android and your server, users and accounts joined properly, every event validated, then charts, cohorts and Amplitude Experiment where you test, so product decisions rest on real behaviour.

What our Amplitude implementation includes

Amplitude consultants who govern the tracking plan, ship the events and prove them against your backend, so charts, cohorts and experiments all read the same data.

  • A governed tracking plan

Every event and property defined once in Amplitude's own tracking plan, with types and owners, so unplanned events get flagged instead of counted.

  • SDKs on web, app and server

Amplitude installed on your site, apps and backend, with autocapture used where it helps and revenue sent from your server.

  • Users, accounts and sessions

User IDs, device IDs and account groups set so one person is one user and one company is one account, where your plan has accounts. See identity merge.

  • Event validation

Every event checked against the plan in Amplitude's debugging views and with test users, then counts compared with your backend.

  • Charts, cohorts and dashboards

Funnels, retention, journeys and cohorts for activation and growth, built only on events already proved.

  • Experiment and session replay

Amplitude Experiment flags and tests wired to the same events, and session replay where your plan includes it. See experimentation platforms.

Ask Amplitude anything, and let agents act on it

With Amplitude connected to Claude over MCP, your team asks what drives activation and which features keep accounts, and agents act on the answer, from cohorts sent to messaging to alerts when an event breaks.

  • Which actions in the first three days best predict a user becoming weekly active?. Reads Amplitude over MCP.
  • Which paying accounts used the new reporting feature less this month than last?. Joins Amplitude accounts with Salesforce.
  • How did the new onboarding test change day-7 retention, by platform?. Reads Amplitude Experiment results.
  • Amplitude with MCP

Amplitude connected to Claude, ChatGPT or Claude Code through the Amplitude MCP server, with each person seeing what Amplitude already lets them see.

  • Answers you can check

Events follow a validated plan, so when AI names a driver of retention, it reads clean data and points to the chart behind it.

  • Amplitude's own AI

Amplitude's AI features set up where they help, and Claude where questions span Amplitude, your CRM and billing. See Mixpanel AI vs Amplitude AI.

  • Agents on your product data

Agents that flag broken events, sync cohorts to messaging and send a weekly activation summary.

With every implementation

  • Yours after handover

The MCP access, the agents and the docs live in your own accounts. Your team runs it all with AI, without depending on us.

  • No retainer needed

A one-time setup at a fixed price. There is no monthly retainer to keep it running, so your costs go down over time.

  • Right from day one

Anyone can set up a tool with AI, but it's only as good as what the AI guesses. We know what works from 74+ implementations.

  • Free martech AI agent

Every implementation includes it: slash commands and skills that run your whole stack in Claude Code.

    See the agent

Who our Amplitude implementation is for

Most teams come to us at one of four points, and the scope is written for yours before any work starts.

Not the right fit if you need someone to run your experiments or analyse results every week. We build the setup your team runs; ongoing analysis is a retainer.

  • New to Amplitude

You picked Amplitude and want the plan, SDKs and identity right before your team starts building charts. See product analytics setup for SaaS.

  • A project nobody trusts

Duplicate events, broken identity and charts nobody believes. We audit, merge and rebuild. See Amplitude implementation mistakes.

  • Moving from Mixpanel, Heap or GA4

A new tracking plan mapped from your old events; bringing history across is a custom plan. See migrating to Mixpanel or Amplitude.

  • Teams that run experiments

You want tests read from the same events as your dashboards. We wire Amplitude Experiment to the plan.

Amplitude with the rest of your stack

Amplitude answers more when it shares users and events with the tools around it. We connect them on one naming scheme.

  • Twilio Segment or RudderStack

Events collected once with Segment or RudderStack and sent to Amplitude and your other tools.

  • Your warehouse

Amplitude events exported to Snowflake or BigQuery, and warehouse data like plans and revenue brought back. See Mixpanel vs Amplitude API.

  • Lifecycle messaging

Cohorts synced to Braze or Customer.io for messages based on behaviour.

  • CRM

Account usage sent to Salesforce or HubSpot, so sales sees which accounts are growing or slipping.

  • Mobile attribution

AppsFlyer or Adjust data on the same users, so campaigns are judged on retention, not installs.

What's not included

So the fixed price covers exactly what we build, and nothing comes as a surprise later.

  • Your Amplitude plan

Amplitude bills you directly, by tracked users or events depending on the plan. See Amplitude pricing.

  • Weekly analysis and test design

We build the setup and train your team. Designing experiments and analysing results every week is retainer work.

  • App development

We write the tracking spec and add the calls with your developers. Building app features is not part of this.

Sound familiar?

  • Charts that disagree with the database.

So every product review starts with an argument.

  • Unplanned events pile up.

Every release adds names nobody approved.

  • One account shows up as dozens of users.

So B2B questions can't be answered.

  • A/B tests read the wrong events.

So wins and losses are guesses.

We implement Amplitude from a governed tracking plan, join users and accounts properly, and validate every event before anyone builds a chart, so experiments and product reviews start from the same numbers.

Amplitude implementation, step by step

  1. 01

    Free call or audit

A free call on your events and charts, or the $99 audit for a written review of what to keep and fix.

  2. 02

    Pick a package

Compare the fixed price packages, then get the detailed scope by email within one business day.

  3. 03

    Tracking plan

Events, properties, identity and account rules agreed with your product team. Nothing is built before you sign it off.

  4. 04

    Build

SDKs, server events and integrations set up in a test project first, then in production.

  5. 05

    Prove the data

Events checked in the debugging views and with test users, then counts compared with your backend. Charts come after the numbers match.

  6. 06

    Hand over

Dashboards, docs and training for your team, plus your martech AI agent and support after launch.

Don't take our word for it. Hear it from the founders who handed us their stack.

“Faizur helped us transfer Google Analytics conversion events to Google Ads via Segment. We set that up within two or three weeks. Now we have a clear vision of our conversions and we could optimize our campaigns like this. Because if your tracking is not on point, you can't really improve your Google Ads performance.”

“We have worked with Faizur and his agency for the past six months to set up all the growth stack that we needed. All the marketing analytics tools like Mixpanel, Google Analytics, data tracking tool, customer analysis tool like Customer.io, and every kind of tool that we needed. He's always ready to help and super reactive. I highly recommend to work with him.”

“We worked with Faizur when we wanted to set up Mixpanel. What I loved was how detail-oriented he was, and that he wasn't just there to accomplish that one task. He was able to advise us. He suggested setting up Segment and he thought about everything at a macro level, all the way down to the micro. It gave me confidence to outsource this.”

“We recently had the pleasure of working with Faiz on our integration of Segment. Not only did he help us seamlessly set up the integration, but he also went above and beyond to help us establish dashboards in Mixpanel. What was super valuable was having somebody who understood both the business/marketing requirements but also had the technical expertise to execute them.”

Amplitude implementation questions, answered

Something else on your mind? Email hello@martechdevs.com or book a free call.

How much does an Amplitude implementation cost?

Starter is $4,800 (25% off $6,400), live in 4 weeks, at a fixed price with no hourly billing. Eligible startups get 40% off the list price instead. More brands, markets or a migration from another tool make it a custom plan, priced before work starts. Your Amplitude plan is billed by Amplitude, not by us. See the fixed price packages.

How much does Amplitude cost?

Amplitude has a free Starter plan, then paid plans billed by monthly tracked users or events, with Experiment, session replay and other products priced on top. Eligible startups can get Amplitude's startup offer. See Amplitude pricing.

Amplitude or Mixpanel?

Both are strong on funnels, retention and cohorts. Amplitude adds experiments, session replay and governance in one platform, which suits larger product teams. Mixpanel is quicker for small teams to pick up. See Mixpanel vs Amplitude.

Amplitude or PostHog?

Amplitude suits product and growth teams that want a polished analytics and experiment suite. PostHog suits engineering-led teams that want analytics, replay and feature flags in an open-source tool. See Amplitude vs PostHog.

What does an Amplitude integration involve?

Connecting the sources and destinations around Amplitude: Segment or your SDKs in, the warehouse both ways, cohorts out to Braze or your CRM, and attribution data joined on. Each connection is tested with real users before it goes live.

Should we use Amplitude autocapture?

For page views, sessions and clicks, it saves time. For anything tied to revenue or activation, define the event in the plan. Autocapture shows what people click, but named events with properties are what make funnels and experiments reliable.

Can you set up Amplitude Experiment?

Yes. We set up flags and experiments on the same events as your dashboards, with exposure tracking and the success metrics agreed before a test starts. A sample ratio mismatch check runs on every test.

Who owns the Amplitude project?

You do. The project, its data and the tracking plan stay in your accounts, and we work as members you can remove at any time.

Can we ask Amplitude questions with AI?

Yes. We connect Amplitude to Claude, ChatGPT or Claude Code over MCP, so your team asks about activation, retention and accounts in plain English. The events follow a validated plan, so the answers hold up.

What happens after launch?

Starter includes 30 days of support after handover, up to 10 hours. It covers fixes, questions and new events, charts or experiments. After that your team runs it with the docs and your martech AI agent, or keeps us on a retainer from $1,980 a month.
