What our Clay implementation includes

Clay GTM consultants who build the tables, enrichment and research behind your outbound, and document every column, so the engine keeps running after handover.

  • ICP and account tables

Your ideal customer profile turned into Clay tables of accounts and contacts, with filters you can rerun every week.

  • Waterfall enrichment

Emails, phones and firmographics from several providers in turn, so you fill more gaps for fewer credits. See waterfall enrichment.

  • Signals

Hiring, funding, job changes, tech stack and website visits turned into reasons to reach out now. See signal-based selling.

  • AI research and personalization

Claygent and AI prompts that research each account and draft first lines your team reviews before anything goes out.

  • CRM sync

Enriched accounts and contacts written to HubSpot or Salesforce without overwriting what reps typed. See Clay and HubSpot.

  • Credit budgets

Run conditions, caching and limits on every column, so a table rerun does not burn a month of credits. See Clay pricing.

AI research for every account, in Clay and Claude

With Clay, your CRM and your data provider connected to Claude over MCP, your team finds accounts, researches them and checks coverage in plain English, and agents keep the tables and the CRM in step.

  • Find 50 companies that match our ICP and hired a head of RevOps in the last 60 days.. Searches Apollo, then enriches in Clay.
  • Research this account and give me three reasons to reach out this month.. Runs Claygent on the account.
  • Which target accounts in HubSpot have no contact with a verified email?. Reads HubSpot over MCP.
  • Clay with MCP

Clay connected to Claude or Claude Code, so tables run from a conversation, with approval before anything is written. See Clay MCP and GTM workflows.

  • Research on your playbook

AI prompts and skills written from your ICP, offers and best emails, so the research sounds like your team.

  • Clean CRM data

Agents that check enrichment against your CRM rules before writing, so reps keep trusting the fields.

  • Signals to action

New signals become tasks or alerts for the right rep, with the account's research attached.

With every implementation

  • Yours after handover

The MCP access, the agents and the docs live in your own accounts. Your team runs it all with AI, without depending on us.

  • No retainer needed

A one-time setup at a fixed price. There is no monthly retainer to keep it running, so your costs go down over time.

  • Right from day one

Anyone can set up a tool with AI, but it's only as good as what the AI guesses. We know what works from 74+ implementations.

  • Free martech AI agent

Every implementation includes it: slash commands and skills that run your whole stack in Claude Code.

    See the agent

Who our Clay consulting is for

Most teams come to us at one of four points, and the scope is written for yours before any work starts.

Not the right fit if you want a list bought once and handed over. We build a system that keeps finding and enriching the right accounts.

  • New to Clay

You bought Clay and want tables, enrichment and CRM sync set up right, not learned by burning credits.

  • Clay tables that sprawled

Dozens of tables, credit spikes and columns nobody understands. We rebuild and document them. See Clay implementation mistakes.

  • One data provider is not enough

Apollo or ZoomInfo alone leaves gaps. We set up a waterfall across providers and compare coverage. See Clay vs Apollo.

  • No GTM engineer yet

You need the outbound data engine built and run without a full-time hire. See what GTM engineering is.

Clay with the rest of your stack

Clay is only useful when its data lands where your team works. We connect it in both directions and decide which system owns each field.

  • HubSpot and Salesforce

Accounts and contacts pushed to HubSpot or Salesforce, and CRM lists pulled back into Clay for enrichment.

  • Data providers

Apollo.io, ZoomInfo and others in the waterfall, with your own API keys where that saves credits.

  • Website and product signals

Website visits and product signups from Segment or your app, used as signals for timing.

  • Sending infrastructure

Contacts handed to your sequencer, with domains, mailboxes and warmup set up to protect your main domain. See cold email infrastructure.

  • Your warehouse

Clay results stored in Snowflake or BigQuery, so you can measure which signals turn into pipeline.

What's not included

So the fixed price covers exactly what we build, and nothing comes as a surprise later.

  • Clay and data provider plans

Clay credits and any provider subscriptions are billed by those vendors. We set budgets so the spend matches the plan.

  • Domains and mailboxes

Sending domains and mailboxes are bought in your name and billed by their providers. See how many inboxes you need.

  • A one-off list

We build tables that keep running. A single list, bought and handed over once, is not what this is.

Sound familiar?

  • Credits gone by the middle of the month.

Tables rerun on every row, every time.

  • Enrichment overwrites good CRM data.

So reps stop trusting the fields.

  • Personalization that reads like a template.

Because the research step was skipped.

  • One person understands the Clay tables.

    And they just changed jobs.

We build Clay around your ICP and your CRM, enrich in a waterfall with credit limits on every column, add signals and AI research your team can review, and document every table, so it keeps working without us.

“Faizur helped us transfer Google Analytics conversion events to Google Ads via Segment. We set that up within two or three weeks. Now we have a clear vision of our conversions and we could optimize our campaigns like this. Because if your tracking is not on point, you can't really improve your Google Ads performance.”

“We worked with Faizur when we wanted to set up Mixpanel. What I loved was how detail-oriented he was, and that he wasn't just there to accomplish that one task. He was able to advise us. He suggested setting up Segment and he thought about everything at a macro level, all the way down to the micro. It gave me confidence to outsource this.”

“We recently had the pleasure of working with Faiz on our integration of Segment. Not only did he help us seamlessly set up the integration, but he also went above and beyond to help us establish dashboards in Mixpanel. What was super valuable was having somebody who understood both the business/marketing requirements but also had the technical expertise to execute them.”

Clay consulting questions, answered

Something else on your mind? Email hello@martechdevs.com or book a free call.

How much does Clay consulting cost?

Growth is $12,150 (25% off $16,200), live in 12 weeks, at a fixed price with no hourly billing. Eligible startups get 40% off the list price instead. More brands, markets or a migration from another tool make it a custom plan, priced before work starts. Clay credits and data provider plans are billed by those vendors. See the fixed price packages.

How long does a Clay setup take?

Growth goes live in 12 weeks, or 6 weeks on super fast. We test the first tables on a sample early, then spend the rest of the time on CRM sync, signals and documentation.

What does a Clay agency do?

Builds the tables, enrichment, signals and research that feed your outbound, and connects them to your CRM. Good Clay work also means credit budgets and documentation, so your team can run and change it after handover.

How much does Clay cost?

Clay plans come with a monthly allowance, and each enrichment or AI step draws on it. Your real cost depends on how many rows you enrich and which providers you use, and run conditions and caching keep it predictable. See Clay pricing.

Clay or Apollo?

Apollo is a contact database with sequences built in. Clay is a workspace that pulls from many databases, Apollo included, and adds research and logic. Small teams often start with Apollo.io and add Clay when one provider leaves too many gaps. See Clay vs Apollo.

Will Clay overwrite our CRM data?

Not with the rules we set. Clay writes only to the fields it owns, fills empty fields before touching others and never overwrites what a rep entered. See Clay and HubSpot.

Do we need a GTM engineer to run Clay?

Not to run what we build. We document every table and train the person who owns outbound. A GTM engineer helps when you want new plays every week; until then a retainer covers the changes.

Who owns the Clay workspace?

You do. The workspace, tables, API keys and CRM connections are in your accounts, and we work as members you can remove at any time.

Can we use Clay with Claude?

Yes. We connect Clay, your CRM and your data provider to Claude over MCP, so your team can find, research and check accounts in plain English, with approval before anything is written.

What happens after launch?

Growth includes 90 days of support after handover, up to 30 hours. It covers fixes, questions and small changes to tables and sync rules. After that your team runs it with the docs and your martech AI agent, or keeps us on a retainer from $1,980 a month.
