HubSpot cost calculator

HubSpot adds up a base fee, paid seats, marketing contacts and one-time onboarding, so both people and contacts move the bill. Pick a company like yours or enter your own numbers for an estimate at list price.

Start from a company like yours

Example numbers: Marketing Hub Professional, 10 sellers, 4 support agents and 25,000 marketing contacts.

Estimated monthly bill at list price

$3,375

Marketing Hub Professional, 5 Core seats, 10 Sales seats, 4 Service seats, 25,000 marketing contacts.

More people and more usage both move this bill

Each paid seat adds to it, and marketing contacts step up in blocks. A contact tier rises by itself once you pass it, and only comes down at renewal.

Which plan fits

Professional fits most growing teams. Enterprise adds governance and tighter control, and would make this $5,900 a month, plus $14,000 onboarding.

What this assumes

  • USD list prices for HubSpot’s standard Hub-based plans, with one edition across every Hub.
  • Contacts above the plan are worked out block by block from HubSpot’s band prices. Confirm the final tier in HubSpot’s own price calculator.
  • Paid annually and paid monthly both carry an annual commitment.

Left out of this estimate

  • Content Hub, Data Hub, Revenue Hub and other add-ons, plus tax and partner implementation.

How does HubSpot pricing work?

HubSpot adds up several lines: a base fee for Marketing Hub, paid seats, and marketing contacts above your plan’s allowance. Marketing Hub Professional is $800.00 a month paid annually, with 3 Core seats and 2,000 contacts. Sales and Service seats are $90.00 each. Professional and Enterprise also carry one-time onboarding.

  • Monthly bill = Marketing Hub base + extra Core seats + Sales and Service seats + contact blocks + extra credits
  • Contact blocks = 5,000 at a time on Professional, priced at each band
  • First year = monthly bill × 12 + onboarding

These are worked examples at list price, one per company type, using the example numbers shown. They aren’t client results. Onboarding is one-time, so it’s left out of the monthly figures and added to the first-year total in the calculator. Change the seats and contacts to match your own team.

HubSpot cost worked example

A hypothetical 50 to 100 person B2B SaaS company buys Marketing Hub Professional, paid annually, with 5 Core seats, 10 Sales seats, 4 Service seats and 25,000 marketing contacts.

  1. Base and extra Core seats: $800.00 + 2 × $45.00 = $890.00.
  2. Sales and Service seats: 14 × $90.00 = $1,260.
  3. Marketing contacts: room for 27,000, which adds $1,225.
  4. Onboarding once: $3,000 + $1,500 + $1,500 = $6,000.

The estimate is $3,375 a month at list price, or $46,500 in the first year with onboarding. Contacts are over a third of the monthly bill here, so clearing old marketing contacts before renewal matters.

What are HubSpot’s list rates?

Starter lists at $20.00 a seat. Marketing Hub Professional is $800.00 paid annually or $890.00 paid monthly, and Enterprise is $3,600. Sales Hub seats are $90.00 on Professional and $150.00 on Enterprise. Extra credits cost one cent each, and required onboarding is a one-time fee.

The $7.00 and $10.00 Starter prices are limited offers for new customers, so this calculator uses the $20.00 list price.

Does HubSpot cost more with more people or more contacts?

Both. Every paid seat adds to the bill, and marketing contacts step up in blocks above your plan’s allowance. Ten more Sales seats on Professional add $900.00 a month. Non-marketing contacts stay free up to 15 million, so only people you email or target with ads count.

What happens when I pass my marketing contact tier?

HubSpot moves you up by itself, and you can’t stop it once the limit is passed. One contact over is enough. You then pay for the higher tier until renewal, even if your count drops, because tiers only come down at renewal. Clearing contacts before you reach the limit is what saves money.

Who needs a paid HubSpot seat?

People who edit need a paid seat, while view-only seats are free. Core seats follow the highest edition you own, so Sales Hub Enterprise makes every Core seat an Enterprise seat. Count editors, sellers and agents separately before you buy, since that split matters more than total headcount.

What makes a HubSpot bill jump?

Moving from Starter to Professional. A team paying $20.00 a seat moves to a $800.00 Marketing Hub base with $3,000 of required onboarding. After that, marketing contacts are usually the next jump. Sales or Service Hub adds its own seats and onboarding on top, so price the whole plan before you upgrade.

What do HubSpot Credits cost?

Plans include credits each month: 500 on Starter, 3,000 on Professional and 5,000 on Enterprise. Extra credits cost one cent each. Credits reset monthly and don’t roll over, and they don’t add up across products. You get the highest allowance of any Hub you own.

Seats and contact tiers are easiest to get right at the start. Our HubSpot implementation work covers the setup and integrations at a fixed price.
