What does a Salesloft MCP server do?

A Salesloft MCP server lets an AI assistant look up live Salesloft data in a chat. Salesloft's server searches accounts, people, opportunities, conversations and users, and fetches one record by ID. Conversation summaries, extracted fields and key moments stay available through the conversation details tool.

• Copilot MCP Server: a separate server for Clari Copilot data, added as a custom connector in Claude or ChatGPT. It covers Copilot tools only, and a Copilot admin turns it on.
• Clari Forecast MCP: a separate server with seven forecast tools for Claude and ChatGPT. A Clari admin turns it on in Clari Studio.
• Salesloft's July press release lists cadence data and write-back as planned. Its help article still shows reads only and no cadences.

Is there an official Salesloft MCP server?

Yes. Salesloft documents the Salesloft MCP Server in its help center and introduced it in April 2026. The Claude listing shows it as made by Salesloft, with an Anthropic verified badge. Salesloft calls the current stage the Crawl (Beta) phase, and it has already removed one tool.

• Salesloft is now part of Clari + Salesloft, and its newsroom uses that name.

What is the Salesloft MCP server URL, and how do you sign in?

The URL is https://mcp.salesloft.com/sse, shown in Salesloft's ChatGPT guide and its Claude listing. A Salesloft admin first turns on Enable MCP Server under Settings, Artificial Intelligence. You then sign in with your Salesloft login through OAuth. No separate account is needed.

• Salesloft's ChatGPT guide uses Dynamic Client Registration under Advanced OAuth Settings.
• To cut off one person, revoke their API key under Settings, API Keys. Turning off Enable MCP Server disconnects everyone.

What can a Salesloft MCP server read and change?

It only reads. Salesloft says only reads are allowed, so the server can't create, update or delete data. It can't search or retrieve cadences or their performance. Users only see records their Salesloft permissions allow, and the AI gets an error or an empty result for the rest.

How do you set up a Salesloft MCP server in Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor?

A Salesloft admin turns on Enable MCP Server first. Salesloft names Claude Desktop and ChatGPT as the supported clients. In Claude, add the listed connector. In ChatGPT, add a custom plugin on a Business or Enterprise plan. Salesloft publishes no Cursor steps and doesn't list Cursor as supported.

Keep prompts to accounts, people, opportunities and conversations, because cadence questions fall outside the tools. Salesloft lists sample revenue questions in its help article. These examples fit its search and lookup tools. All of them read, so nothing in Salesloft changes when you run them.

What are the limits of a Salesloft MCP server?

It's a beta with reads only. MCP calls count against your standard API limits, and Salesloft's API allows 600 cost points a minute per team, shared with your other integrations. Raw transcripts aren't supported, and cadence data isn't available. Salesloft supports only Claude Desktop and ChatGPT.

• Each API endpoint has a default cost of 1, and page numbers above 100 cost more.
• Claude's listing still shows 14 tools, including conversation_transcript_by_id. Salesloft's help article lists 13.
• Salesloft says no data is cached outside its perimeter and that it doesn't train AI models on this data. What your AI provider does depends on your contract with them.
• The server sits inside Salesloft's SOC 2 and ISO 27001 scopes.

How much does a Salesloft MCP server cost?

Salesloft publishes no price. The server is for Agentic customers only, and teams that bought an Agent package get it included. Its pricing page lists no tiers and points you to sales. In ChatGPT you also need a Business or Enterprise plan on the OpenAI side.

• Salesloft's packages article names Advanced and Elite, with Forecasting, Account Agent, Coaching Agent and Dialer as add-ons. It shows no prices.
• Salesloft's June release notes call this the Salesloft Agentic add-on.
• A Salesloft admin needs to turn the server on before anyone can connect.

What are the alternatives to a Salesloft MCP server?
