What are the limits of a Mailchimp MCP server?

The connector is focused on campaign planning, editing and saving, and Claude may not help with anything else. Mailchimp's Transactional guide states no limits of its own. Your account's hourly quota applies, Mailchimp sets it automatically, and you can't change it. Sends stop when your blocks run out, unless automatic block purchases are on.

• Limit a Transactional key to the endpoints you need and keep its AI Agents group on. Leaving send endpoints off is the closest control to read-only.
• A test API key sends no email. Mailchimp's MCP guide doesn't say whether test keys work with the MCP.
• Emails over the quota wait in a backlog for 48 hours, then Mailchimp deletes them.
• Demo accounts have a fixed quota of 25 emails an hour, and up to 500 emails in total to your verified domain.
• Mailchimp's May release lists the ChatGPT and Claude app in the US, Canada, UK and Australia. Its June ChatGPT guide says the ChatGPT app is US only.

Mailchimp's pages disagree on the connector. Its AI tools page puts connectors on Standard and Premium plans, while its ChatGPT guide says no specific plan is needed. The docs server needs no credential. Transactional is a paid add-on to Standard or Premium, starting at $20 per 25,000-email block.

• Mailchimp's pricing page shows Standard at $20 a month and Premium at $350 a month for the first 12 months. The Free plan stops at 250 contacts and 500 sends a month.
• Block prices fall to $10 above 4 million emails, and unused emails don't roll over.
