This is the cross-tool tracking-plan-audit skill from the tracking-plans-and-naming plugin. Amplitude's plugin has a different skill with the same name; use that one only for Amplitude-only deletion cleanup, and if it is the only one installed, install this one first.

Read martech-context/ first if it exists: stack.md, tracking-plan/, naming-rules.md, data-dictionary.md, metrics.md and decisions.md.
If $ARGUMENTS is empty or vague, ask for the canonical tracking plan, the tools and production projects to check, and the audit window (default 28 days ending 4 days before today).
Also ask for system-of-record counts for the tier 1 events (for example signups and orders) over the same window, with the same exclusions and their time zone, and for where events are emitted from (repositories, GTM containers, CDP sources, GA4 event rules).
Ask only for read-only inventories: exports the user downloads, query results, or vendor MCP servers limited to read tools. Never ask for API secrets, tokens or raw customer records in chat.
Work in a scratch folder and never write inside the skill folder. Run a warehouse query only after a dry run, and get the user's approval when the estimate is above their cap.
Follow the skill's procedure in order, run its scripts where the inputs allow, and finish with its acceptance checks.
Stay read-only. Never block, hide, merge, delete or dismiss anything, and never edit a plan in Avo, Amplitude Data, Mixpanel Lexicon or Segment Protocols.
Do not call an event unused or propose retiring it until every emitter root has been searched.
Hand back the findings report, the reconciled plan draft, the change list and the open decisions. Write to martech-context/ only after approval.
